Currently Senior Manager of Donor Advancement at the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, Nicholas has an extensive background in the orchestral field. Prior to his position at the DSO, Nicholas completed a one year fellowship with the League of American Orchestras. During the fellowship, he worked closely with executive management at the Aspen Music Festival and School, as well as the Detroit, Spokane, and Baltimore Symphonies.

A graduate of Southern Methodist University, Nicholas received his Bachelor and Masters degrees in Viola Performance, where he studied with Barbara Sudweeks. Immediately following graduation, he was offered a fellowship position as a violist with the New World Symphony in Miami. In addition, Nicholas was also a violist with the National Repertory Orchestra, National Orchestral Institute, and the International Festival at Roundtop.

Other management responsibilities include Assistant Orchestra Manager for the National Repertory Orchestra, Operations Intern at the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, and contractor/ musician for high profile artists such as Josh Groban, Amy Grant, and the Trans-Siberian Orchestra.
