Violinist Pei-Ju Wu, a native of Taipei, Taiwan, has established a performance career as a chamber and orchestral musician. She has performed with the Houston Grand Opera, San Antonio Symphony, Fort Worth Symphony, Austin Symphony, and the New World Symphony. She has toured with the Star Wars in Concert orchestra and performed with Peter Gabriel's New Blood North America tour. In 2010 Pei-Ju co-founded Quartus Chamber Players, a chamber music ensemble in Houston, and joined the Hall Ensemble in Fort Worth, TX in 2011. In addition to these groups, Pei-Ju performed with the Virtuoso String Quartet and with Mount Vernon Music in east Texas this year. Pei-Ju has received her degrees from Boston University and Rice University studying with Roman Totenberg and Kathleen Winkler, and is currently a member of the Des Moines Metro Opera.
